In 2000, Hernandez recorded a three-song demo that was featured in the VH1 documentary Graveside Groupies, hosted by Nikki Sixx of Mötley Crüe. His first studio album, Chili Bowl, was released in 2002, followed by Baggage Claim (2003) and Last Call (2004), all recorded and mixed at Blue Marble Studio in Venice Beach. His tracks were featured on Fox Sports and ESPN, including on X Games and Howie Long's NFL Tough Guys. In 2014, he recorded his fourth album, Forest for the Trees, in Austin, Texas. His subsequent albums—Revelator, Cellophane, Infinitario, and Pantheon—were recorded in New York City. He is currently recording his latest album in Taos, New Mexico.
